'A view from Knightsbridge Barrack'. Coloured etching. This image is a full length caricature of Captain Horace Seymour who participated in the battle of Waterloo. This illustration is part of a group of illustrations from the book 'Characters at the West End of town' which were drawn and etched by Richard Dighton and published by Thomas M'Lean, the book is a repository of wit and humour and was published at Haymarket in 1825. Commonly referred to as West End characters, this book is unpaginated and consists of fourty four colour plate portraits of famous people of the time.
