A print of a fishseller entitled, 'Four for Six pence Mackrell/Maquereaux quatre pour Six Sols/ Quatro Sgombri p sei Soldi', and numbered 42, from The Cryes of the City of London.

This old woman has mended her clothes until they seem made of patches. She is probably wearing all the clothes she owns. Despite offering four fish, she holds only one. Exhaustion and age prevent her from lugging around a basket. This fate awaited all street traders.
