Worcester style lobed rim plate, decorated with mazarin blue ground with vase and urn-shaped reserves painted in enamels with exotic birds and insects; gilt around reserves and gilt detail rim. The marks on the plate are a square seal in underglaze blue and anchor and dagger in overglaze red. This plate was manufactured at Bow and decorated by an outside decorator - E. Adams and D. Redstone.
