Single handled flagon with collared rim in Verulamium Region White ware. A faint graffito on the shoulder reads "LONDINI ADFANVM ISIDIS", or 'At the temple of Isis, London'. This graffito was the first evidence for the cult of Isis in Britain. This type of flagon was made in the greater London area and Hertfordshire (Verulamium region). This flagon was found at Tooley Street, Southwark, London.
