Pottery drinking vessel. Complete beaker (East Anglian Type) with buff fabric - with yellowish beige colour. This beaker has a notched decoration throughout consisting of a series of horizontal lines. It was found close to another beaker in Erith, London. It was probably used to accompany a burial since it was found in a gravel pit three feet below the surface, although no trace of bone survived.
