An exterior sketch of the waterworks, Hammersmith. Signed and dated Oct. 1812. John Claude Nattes was a watercolour painter and pupil of Irish painter Hugh Dean, well known as a topographical draughtsman. An original member of the old Water Colour Society 1804, but expelled 1807.
