This medal was struck (cast and chased) upon the King's return to London after his coronation at Edinburgh, and was executed by Nicholas Briot. The front of the medal shows Charles I on horseback, with his head bare, in armour, and his truncheon in his right hand. The reverse shows London Bridge with St Paul's.
