Engraving from the French magazine Le Journal Illustre showing the discovery of what was described as the 10th victim of Jack the Ripper. On February 13th, 1891 Frances Coles was brutally murdered in Swallow Gardens, Royal Mint Street in Whitechapel. The murder took place over 2 years after the murders of 1888 but the popular press were quick to link this murder to Jack the Ripper.
