Selection of Roman jewellery. Group of Roman jewels consisting of: a brooch, a finger-ring set with an opaque greenish stone, a copper alloy wire bracelet, a bone hairpin with a carved a portrait of the Empress Sabina, a brooch of copper alloy with length of chain attached and a necklace composed of seven hexagonal emerald beads on a gold chain. Jewels like these would usually be on Roman lady's dressing tables.
