Strand, looking East. To the left is the Gaiety Theatre (since demolished) and Aldwych. Further down the Strand is St Mary-le-Strand church. This is one of many photographs taken by George Reid, who photographed the streets and buildings of London and the activity in them in the 1920s and 1930s. From Volume 3 of Reid's 'Views of Westminster and London'.
