Thames river view with St Paul's. A photograph taken near low tide, between Southwark and Blackfriars bridges. The sailing barge 'Mona' is beached on the Southwark foreshore, numerous barges are similarly beached by the wharves on the north shore. This is one of many photographs taken by George Reid, who photographed the streets and buildings of London and the activity in them in the 1920s and 1930s.
