Selection of opal glass vessels. From right to left: Wine glass in Straw Opal glass, with wide bowl and low conical base. Vase made in Straw Opal glass. The bowl with 'thrown' wavy rim is set on a merese above a hollow twisted stem, on a conical foot. It was probably designed by Harry Powell. Wine glass made in Blue Opal glass with a straight side bowl with rounded base on a drawn stem and plain foot. A round label on the base is inscribed, 'POWELL WHITEFRIARS GLASSWORKS'.
