Fish Street Hill looking south. A view looking towards the Thames, showing the base of the Monument to the Great Fire of London and the spire of the church of St Magnus at the bottom of the hill. This photograph was taken by George Reid, who took many photographs of the streets and buildings of London and the activity in them during the 1920s and 1930s. It appeared in his 'Views of Westminster and London'.
