Cycle traffic at Ponders End station. This traffic, mostly cyclists, is crossing the railway line at Ponders End station, Enfield. Enfield was one of the north-eastern suburbs along the Lea Valley, which thrived on industry. Many thousands worked in the factories. Products ranged from the Enfield rifle to electric fires.
