A details of a teagown with a 'Watteau' back. Printed silk satin, lace. Princess line with a square neckline and long sleeves made of puffs of lace contained with bands of the dress fabric. The dress is elaborately smocked and tucked. The bodice is boned and the skirt is fully lined and has internal ties to control the shape of the draped back. Made by Chipperfield & Butler, 75/76 Western Road, Brighton.
