Porters come and go through the hectic lorry park at Billingsgate Market, loading and unloading barrows and trolleys of fish from the delivery vans into the trading floor. The task was known as 'shoring in' in reference to the old practice of carrying fish ashore from boats once moored at Billingsgate Wharf. This is one of many photographs Bob Collins made there in 1958.
