A game entitled 'Elusive Christabel', satirising police failure to find and arrest Christabel Pankhurst. This satirical game was sold as a penny novelty by street traders. When the flap is pulled down the portrait of Christabel Pankhurst, who escaped to France in 1912 when faced with conspiracy charges, changes to a second picture of three policemen searching for the 'Elusive Christabel'.
