Nan Mills. The London Begger. After M. Lauron's 'The London Beggar'. Woman dressed in rags with young son and a baby on her back. Known as a mimic and possibly stole children to extort charity. Published in 'The Cries of London - Exhibiting several of the itenerant traders of ancient and modern times' by T. H Smith. The book was published in 1839. This plate is opposite page 56 of the book.
