Slipware pottery vase, with vertical basket handle and pedestal foot, decoration of slip and applied pattern with yellow and green glaze on a brown body finished with a patchy brown glaze. Decoration consists of rectangular trellis-work panels, alternating with circular ship's wheel-type motifs. The shape of the vase goes back to the 16th century, but was revived in the 19th century.
