Image of a woman modeling lingerie for the retailer Harrods. In the 1920s, fashionable ladies' underwear became lighter, looser and increasingly free of corsetry. This woman was photographed modelling lingerie for the established retailer Harrods, whose grand Knightsbridge store was expanding. The image was created at the Bassano Photographic Studio, 38 Dover Street, and published in the society magazine, Tattler.
