Charles Dickens photographed in the studio of John and Charles Watkins, 34 Parliament Street, Westminster. Dickens is seated with cane in hand looking towards the camera. The studio operated under John Watkins between 1851-1865. It was then succeeded by Watking Bros. Watkins died in 1874. This carte de visite featured in the Dickens and London exhibition at the museum, 2011.
