NWSPU peaked cap of purple, white and green cloth and gold braid, bearing the letters N.W.S.P.U.. Worn by General Flora Drummond. General Flora Drummond (c.1879-1949) was a senior figure and organiser within the WSPU. She was involved with the WSPU's campaign in Scotland. The initials NWSPU on this cap stand for National Women's Social and Political Union which has been adopted after the split with the Pankhursts by Charlotte Despard, Edith How-Martyn and Teresa Billington-Greig in 1907.
