Woodcut suffragette poster with relief printed in black. The poster shows a central image of a tree to the left of which sits a robed woman holding a book, to the right a bearded man looking out to sea. The slogans are written in Welsh. Slogan above the image reads ' A ydyw (...) yn D?g?' Slogan below the image reads 'Ai - manteisiol - l - wladwriath - ydyw - estyn breintiau - l - rhif2 - au -Gwrthod - l - fammau - yn Israel?' Text within the image read '1 Cyrifoldeb heb beidlais. 2 Pleidlas - heb cyrifoldeb'. In translation this means 'Is this fair? 1. Responsibility without suffrage 2. Suffrage without responsibility. Is it advantageous for the state to hand out priveleges to section 2 or refusal to mothers in Israel?'.
