Inside view of the gold freedom box, presented by the City of London to William Carr Beresford in recognition for his victory over the French at the Battle of Albuera in 1811. The box is of gold and enamel, with a full inscription inside the lid. It was made to contain the Freedom previously voted to General Beresford in 1806, with the sword 25140.
