This is a photograph of Trojan Restaurant, a Turkish Cypriot establishment in Green Lanes in Haringey. A large Cypriot population resides in the area, comprising both Turks and Greeks. Turkish Cypriots in London are mostly working class people and have a variety of jobs. Many are employed in factories. Others are self-employed, running their own corner shops, restaurants and butchers' shops. They also work in catering, dressmaking, hairdressing, shoemaking and other service industries.
