Gold and enamel pair cased watch. Plain gold inner case with casemaker's marks 'I I and I W'. Gold outer case with hinged bezel decorated with a ring of red enamel and white enamel semi-circles to resemble split pearls. Pendant surround with hatched decoration. Back with a border of white enamel circles with a band of red guilloche enamel surrounding a further band of white circles. At the centre a deep purple guilloche enamel with circular motifs cut into the design beneath the enamel. Domed white enamel dial. Minute ring with a lozenge mark at 15-minute intervals. Roman hour numerals. The dial fits loosely and their is no dial plate. Gold watch hands. Movement has circular gilded-brass plates and four tapered pillars. Gilded-brass barrel with ratchet wheel and clock set-up mounted on the front plate. suee with chain and English stop-work. Four wheel going train. Steel 3-arm balance with spiral balance spring. Tompion regulation with a silver disc engraved every fifth division in Arabic 0-30. Pierced and engraved balance cock. At the centre a screwed on endstone. Solid foot with an engraved foliate design - a rosette around the screw hole.
