Vase in blue glass incorporating gold foil, with opaque white layer which has been acid etched away to form a pattern of almond branches with blossom in a cameo effect. This vase has an inverted funnel shaped body, drawn into slender waist which flares outwards to form a neck with incurving rim. It has a round white opal pontil mark. Possibly produced for Ghent 1913 or Louvre 1914. made by James Powell and Sons, Whitefriars.
