The Curds and Whey Seller, Cheapside. Oil on canvas, not signed or dated. This painting shows a seated blind girl selling curds and whey on Cheapside. She is shown in profile, emotionless, holding out her hand for the coins which the ragamuffins who are conning her will not hand over. This is a crude but humorous painting of a London scene.
