Bronze socketed spearhead, with peg holes low in socket and triangular blade ribbed and bevelled and decorated with punched holes. Engraved lines and punched holes at base of blade simulate a ferrule mouth, and the socket has bands of similar lines, holes and triangles. The tip of the blade is missing. This is an example of an Arreton type spearhead. It was found in the Thames between Putney and Wandsworth, slightly east of Putney railway bridge.
