Portrait of Henry Frederick, Prince of Wales. Oil on panel. Half length portrait, facing slightly to the left, with left hand on hip, the sitter is wearing silver slashed doublet, falling lace collar with the insignia of Order of Garter round his neck. The background is plain dark. This work is bequeathed as Charles I and is without attribution. Sir Roy Strong has attributed the painting to Robert Peake the elder.
