Panorama: Two views of the City of London across the River Thames, taken from the steeple of Southwark Cathedral, printed parallel, one on top of the other. The top view is of the city before the Great Fire of London in 1666, and the bottom image taken after the disaster, with a key detailing the buildings. Due to his earlier mapping of the city, Hollar was able to make the comparisons and shows the entire extent of the burnt out area, including the ruin of St Paul's and the untouched Tower of London.
