Pear-shaped toy flagon. A pear-shaped lidded ewer of elliptical section cast in three parts. The entire vessel is covered in low-relief decoration to replicate a vesel of hight quality. The upper part of the vessel including the pouring lip is covered with a cross-hatch design and the neck is divided into three horizontal bands each defined by a circumferential ridge. The vessel is supported on a very short, slender stem with a sharp-edged annular knop. The slender hatched S-shaped handle terminates at each end in a scroll.
