Fragment of Roman sports cup. This sports cup is made of good quality glass of natural blue colour. It was of cylindrical shape and mould-blown with three zones of decoration. The top of the fragment has the lower part of three letters: "ATE". In the middle, from left to right, there is a part of a leg and a boxer moving left with his fists raised. There is a three-legged table and possibly a palm branch. Above it can be seen the legs of a fallen athlete and at the bottom, from left to right, a palm wreath and a pair of crossed palm branches.This fragment was found at Leadenhall Court, City of London.
