Flat-rimmed cremation urn of natural blue colour. The galss is of thin and poor quality with large bubbles and strain cracks. The body of the jar shows no little evidence of damage except for the rim. The jar was found with more than half of the rim, a complete body and base. The rim is irregularly formed and folded out. Its base is pushed up to a low dome. When it was found, the jar contained many fragments of cremated bone. This jar is a large example of its type, probably made and/or purchased purely for use as a cremation urn.
