Pewter disc brooch with cabled pattern on body and glass boss in centre. This is one of a group of fourty four items including disc brooches, rings and beads, many in unfinished state. This group of jewels was found near Bow Church during the construction of a sewer along Cheapside in 1838, and at first thought to be of silver, these seem to be the stock of a local workshop.
