Pewter disc brooch. This is one of a group of brooches and rings found near Bow Church during the construction of a sewer along Cheapside in 1838. It is ornamented with raised concentric lines. This is one of a group of fourty four items including disc brooches, rings and beads, many in unfinished state. This example was at first thought to be of silver. The brooches seem to be the stock of a local workshop.
