Lead cross, roughly cut. One of over 80 crosses found in 1905 with human bodies buried outside the City Wall at Christ's Hospital, Newgate Street, London EC1. They may represent mass-burials of prisoners who died of disease at nearby Newgate Gaol in the 18th century.
