Lead number, possibly '6' or '9', the metal is roughly cut. Found in 1905, with over 80 lead crosses, with human bodies buried outside the City Wall at Christ's Hospital, Newgate Street, London EC1. They may represent mass-burials of prisoners who died of disease at nearby Newgate Gaol in the 18th century.
, found at Greyfriars Monastery site, in the new graveyard of Christ Church at Newgate Street, possibly accompanying the burials of prisoners from Newgate.
