Left: olive green glazed immersion watering pot. It is large and pear shaped, with a perforated base, a narrow hole at the top and an arched handle. Right: post-medieval redware watering pot with rose sprinkler. This watering pot shows traces of brown glaze on the exterior and banding around the body. These are the most common form of medieval watering pot.
