Small pewter cruet or jug with a hinged lid and flared, flat base.Circular cruet with flat base. The body tapers towards the rim where there is a hinged lid. There are double lathe turned bands around the middle of the body and below the rim. The lid is stamped with a double 'v' for vinum (wine) and there is a mark of a chalice underneath the lid.
