Lower half of a Roman bikini. This type of bikini is thought to have been worn by female gymnasts or acrobatic dancers. It is made of leather. This type of bikini was fastened with long laces tied at the hips. It was found at an excavation site, at Queen Victoria Street, City of London, in 1958
