Incomplete Roman beaker. Unshouldered beaker with pedastal base. This beaker was made in Lezoux, central Gaul. It is a colour-coated ware with barbotine decoration. The colour coat is black with reddish-brown blotching on the base and with ivy-scroll decoration around the body which is bordered by a band of judder rouletting below. This beaker was found at New Fresh Wharf, Lower Thames Street, London in 1974.
