Greyware circular straight-sided bowl, incomplete and heavily restored. Used for straining the whey from cheese. The surviving section consists of the base which has two concentric ridges and a central dome and ten neatly-rounded perforations interspersed between the ridges. This cheese press was found at Threadneedle Street, London.
