Neck and mouth of a ring-neck flagon, or large vessel, in buff Verulamium ware. The handle has broken off at the junction with the neck. Below the ring-neck, the following words have been inscribed before firing; "GAI SVM PECVLIARIS" or "I am the property of Gaius". It was found during tunnelling below King William Street.
