Bronze rapier, a light slender sword used for thursting. This rapier has a trapezoidal butt, two rivet-holes and two plug-rivets. It has a long central ridge that extends along the blade. Two shorter ridges run up along either side with traces of omega hilt-mark. This rapier was probably found in the Thames at Twichenham.
