Bronze leaf-shaped sword with ricasso and central thickening on the blade. It has a splayed hilt with one slot in tang, two on butt. The sword is broken in four pieces. The place of collection is unknown. It is thought that this is part of a group of weapons found in the Thames. Weapons and skulls found in the Thames have always been interpreted as marking the sites of battles between the Britons and the Romans.
