Green glazed border ware ceramic money box. Money boxes were thrown as an enclosed form with a boulbous body and moulded knop. This money box is slightly poited at the top and the coin slit is vertical and positioned at the upper body of the box. Money boxes are glazed externaly only and this example has a green glaze. Border ware ceramic pieces were produced in Surrey, Hampshire Border.
