Post- medieval, ceramic flask of the Martincamp- type ware. This flask shows traces of reddish brown. Its rim is plain and the long tapering neck joins a globular body, one side of which is slightly flattened. The vessel was made at Martincamp just west of Neufchatel-en-Bray at the northern extremity of the Pays-de-Bray production area centred on Beauvais. The vessel was originally wanded and traces of the wicker binding remain around the neck. This example was found at London Wall, London.
