Brown leather shoe with a slash across the toe and along the side to make room for foot deformities. This shoe has holes cut in the leather to allow for the wearer's bunion. Bunions are swellings on the joint which connects the big toe to the foot. The toes would have been bunched in a claw-like effect, whilst the bunion would have caused a large swelling on the side of the foot, below the big toe.
