This image shows a Pink silk crepe evening dress embroidered with clear glass bugle beads. The dress is sleeveless with a scooped neckline and narrow shoulder straps. It was cut to fall straight to the mid calf, the belt worn low on the hips. The dress was worn by Mrs Henry de Lavel Willis. The tubular shape was the height of fashion in the mid 1920s and Mrs Willis recalled wearing this dress with her hair cropped fashionably short in an 'Eton Crop'.
